Jamie Schultz has lived in Oregon all her life, currently under the same roof as four dogs, three cats, two ferrets, two birds, and a lizard. She opened a small photography business upon graduating Liberty University with a bachelor’s in English and Writing.

Jamie knew she wanted to be an author when she was a freshman in high school after an assignment to write a ten-thousand-word novel. She wrote fifty-thousand and never stopped.

​Jamie has always lived by the ocean but still prefers the river. She is what many would call a Disney Adult who has never watched a Pixar movie with dry eyes. If she could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, it would be the incomparable J.R.R. Tolkien.
